Blurb:
Foraging has become a buzz word in recent years, but many people don’t have the time, skillset, knowledge base or capability to walk out into the woods and start eating. Consider looking around you, going out your backdoor and collecting food that wasn’t grown in a raised bed, under the dripping sweat of your brow. Urban and suburban yards often function as edgelands, the most bountiful parts of nature, so harness that benefit by enhancing your garden with self-sustaining and edible native plants. Preston Drum will tell stories about his son’s berry-stained face and shares insights on how to turn your garden into a resilient and low intervention food factory. Share in the gifts of nature or just be lazy and leave it for the birds.
